To scrap or not to scrap..........

Hello dear Readers,

Recently the Canadian Parliament reconvened with 10 hot-button issues on the plate. One of them being the issue of scrapping the long-gun registry. Parliament voted this Wednesday and the result was a narrow victory for the coalition of Liberals, New Democrats and Blocs. 153-151.Thank God they won!

I know what you're saying, oh no!, another tree-hugging, socialist, liberal, leftist blogger but I beg to differ. I am but a humble moderate on gun control. People should have the ability to have guns for safety purposes because one day there might be a zombie apocalypse (you never know and no I'm not a conspiracy theorist) and people won't have anything to defend themselves with. I also believe that people shouldn't have weapon arsenals in their backyards.

To be fair, the current gun registry isn't working, financially speaking. That's why I was pissed off because the New Democrats and Bloc, who were the swing voters didn't use that power to create a better piece of legislation for the nation. Besides what we should do is crackdown more on weapon smuggling and have stricter punishments for those who break the law.

I don't want to end this blog on an angry tone so........

I bid you guys, Adieu

DayDreamer.......
