After two grueling unit test today, I feel relaxed and reborn. I do not know what's going to be in this entry, all I know is I'm happy. But I still need to do a science lab report due on Monday. Nevertheless, I am living in the moment right now. Boy! Those damn test were hard. It took me one and half hours to do my social studies test and almost forgot to answer two questions in my math unit test. The week was somewhat depressing because the shows that I usually watch was a bore. Although NBC Must See TV (Thursdays) doesn't disappoint, as always. I guess this paragraph of my blog will be a reflection on what happened this week.
(Parks and Recreation, The Office, Community and 30 Rock)
I know I promised you, dear Reader, that this blog will have daily rants. But I can't seem to find an issue that will not affect my political future (Yes, I am still full of myself). I don't want some college kid to find this blog and use it against me in the future. So basically what I'm saying is that through this blog I can be politically liable and therefore has a chance of jeopardizing my political aspirations. If you happen to know, politics is really cut-throat "business". But if God grants me savant-like powers I'd rather be a "Consulting Detective" for Scotland Yard or some cool agency. Yes, I want to be like Sherlock Holmes but without his addictive tendencies.
(Cool yet ominous music.....Muahahahah!!!)
So what's ahead? I shall be writing to a local AIDS organization to volunteer and will be reading another book called 28. I picked the 6th MDG because HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases are very common in South Africa. To the point that the country is leading in the number of HIV/AIDS deaths, 2nd in the number of people living with AIDS and 4th in the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in adults. I have never had anyone close to me that died of AIDS and I hope I will never have to experience it. Some people do, no, a lot of people do. This is my journey in answering the question "What can I do to help?". By the way, if you are well-versed in matters that concerns the country of South Africa especially its indigenous peoples, please feel free to comment and contact me.
